After an eyewitness is murdered by the Boomerang, the assassin discovered that he had interfered in the Kingpin's schemes by doing so. To redeem himself, the crime lord allowed Boomerang to put an end to Spider-Man. Naturally, Spider-Man creamed him as easily as clogging Boomerang's jet-boots with his webbing.

Just as three of the Kingpin's men were about to end Boomerang's life for failing to kill Spider-Man, the web-slinger stopped all of them and handed the four criminals to the Police.
